Sophie is a 2018 graduate of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, where she gained a BA (Hons) degree in Musical Theatre.
Sophie is from Pontypridd, RCT. She has loved performing from a young age starring in musical theatre amateur dramatic shows like Mulan, Annie, The Sound Of Music, FAME and Cinderella, to name a few. Having originally trained as a classical singer, Sophie took part in the John Tree award ceremony in 2014, sang classically at Saint Luke’s church for over 7 years at the yearly carol service and was also guest soloist for the Porth Female Choir. Her biggest crowd was at a Tŷ Hafan event in Cardiff castle singing to around 2000 people! Whilst exploring her voice, Sophie then decided that Musical Theatre was her favourite style, thus compelling her to train as a triple threat performer gaining her BA. Sophie is trained in ballet, tap and jazz dance and also has experience choreographing and devising work.
Sophie met Lauren at university and is now overjoyed to be working with LRS. She is excited to start passing on creative and transferable skills to students and help grow their repertoire, love and passion for the Arts!
